چکیده
Background: Heamatological problems have been associated with human immunodeficiency virus infection. Hypercoagulability, in particular, thrombosis is becoming more common HIV-positive patients. Aim: The goals of this study were to determine levels plasma fibrinogen, protein C, Hemoglobin, and ESR among Sudanese Materials Methods: This a case-control study, for investigation, total 100 participants recruited study. Fifty people diagnosed HIV, 25 whom males (50 percent) females percent), an average age 35.5 years. Further fifty healthy people, 26 (52%) men 24 (48%) women, mean 37.1 years, matched the case group. Fresh Poor Plasma was obtained by centrifuging citrated venous blood samples at 3000 rpm 15 minutes. fibrinogen level determined using automated coagulation analyzer. Total C measured fully-automated analyzer (SYSMEX CA-500’JAPAN). haemoglobin parameter from EDTA anticoagulant Sysmex KX 21-N haematological In one hour, done Westergren tube. Data collected structured direct questionnaire. SPSS version 21 used analyse data. Results: current discovered that HIV infection, standard deviation statistically substantially higher than normal control group (370.5 ± 67 vs 214.7 P value 0.001). Protein significantly lower positive patients compared (0.6 0.1 1.3 0.2 patients, (10.8 1.8 13.7 1.9, 0.01). erythrocyte sedimentation rate group, (58.00 27 7.68 3 0.00). Conclusions: infected had groups. 16 percent deficiency discovered. greater ESR.

cd27 is a biomarker associated with both t-cells and b-cells activation .plasma soluble cd27 (scd27) was identified as a marker of disease outcome in human immunodeficiency virus (hiv) infection .testing of plasma scd27 represents a good tool to monitor the change of immune activation during hiv infection.we sought to analyses role of hepatitis c virus (hcv) and also gb virus type c (gbv-c) co...
متن کاملComparison of Hepatitis C Genotypes in Plasma and Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PMBCs) in Hepatitis C-Infected Patients
Abstract Background and Aims: The Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) is essentially hepatotropic but virus compartment has also been found in other important extra hepatic sites. Detection of HCV RNA in extra hepatic reservoirs such as peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) is important for determining of disease progression and effective treatment. The present study aimed to determine of differe...
متن کاملReduced plasma pyrophosphate levels in hemodialysis patients.
Pyrophosphate (PPi) is a known inhibitor of hydroxyapatite formation and has been shown to inhibit medial vascular calcification in vitamin D-toxic rats. It was demonstrated recently that endogenous production of PPi prevents calcification of rat aorta that are cultured in high concentrations of calcium and phosphate. For determining whether PPi metabolism is altered in hemodialysis patients, p...
متن کاملLp-PLA2 levels in HIV-infected patients
INTRODUCTION HIV-infected patients show an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). In the general population, lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) appears to be an independent predictor of CVD. We aimed to study associations between Lp-PLA2 plasma levels and other risk factors for CVD in HIV patients. MATERIALS AND METHODS A cross-sectional, comparative study of two serie...
متن کاملReduced Serum Homocysteine Levels in Diabetic Patients
Background and Objectives: Type 2 diabetes is the most prevalent form of diabetes mellitus and is associated with a variety of complications. Homocysteine is an important independent risk factor for atherosclerotic diseases in both diabetic and non diabetic subjects. The association between these two is still unclear. The aim of this study was to assess the serum homocysteine levels in uncompli...
